1. The Gospel is the good news for all who have ever sinned against God-

Mark 2:17 And hearing this, Jesus said to them, "It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick; I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners." NASU

2. The Gospel is the good news that the Lord Jesus Christ paid the sin debt by dying on the cross, for everyone who would repent of their sins and trust Christ alone to save them-

Col 2:14  having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.  NASU

 
Matt 1:21 "She will bear a Son; and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins." NASU

Rom 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. KJV 
 
Acts 3:19  "Therefore repent and return, so that your sins may be wiped away, in order that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord. NASU

3. The Gospel is about turning away from sin and self and following Christ-

Matt 16:24-27  Then Jesus said to His disciples, "If anyone wishes to come after Me, he must deny himself, and take up his cross and follow Me. 25 "For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it; but whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. 26 "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?" NASU

4. The Gospel is about receiving the imputed righteousness of Christ-

2 Cor 5:21  He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. NASU

Phil 3:8-9  More than that, I count all things to be loss in view of the surpassing value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and count them but rubbish so that I may gain Christ, 9 and may be found in Him, not having a righteousness of my own derived from the Law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which comes from God on the basis of faith. 5. The Gospel is the good news that through faith in Christ we can escape the wrath and eternal judgment of God-

Rom 5:9-11  Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. 10 For if while we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. 11 And not only this, but we also exult in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now received the reconciliation. 6. The Gospel is the good news that we are saved by faith in Christ, not our good works-

Eph 2:8.9 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 not as a result of works, so that no one may boast. NASU
